The Wedding Experience with Andrea

Photography is more than just images, it’s a real part of your day. Not only do you deserve beautiful images, you also deserve an amazing photographic experience. When my couples feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, that results in genuine, joyful images! When I think back to my wedding day, I remember amazing memories.... but most of the moments I remember really well are the instances that were captured in my pictures. They are priceless to me. Our photographer made us feel so incredibly comfortable and for the first time, I experienced what it feels like to be in front of the camera as a bride. Your wedding day is an experience from beginning to end and your photography is a huge part of that experience..... shouldn’t it be fun? and enjoyable? and natural? I think so! My goal is to not only capture memories for my clients, it’s to create an experience that they will never forget.

Stuck on what to wear? I’m here to help! Here are some of my favorite tips and tricks to help you guide your outfit choices!

Choosing what you will wear for your photo shoot is a huge decision that can make or break your senior portrait session! I know that sounds dramatic... but, if you accidentally wear something that isn’t flattering on camera or something that you don’t feel confident in...it can ruin the experience for you! So, here are some of the best ways to choose what to wear.

1. BE COMFORTABLE
If you do not like fitted clothing (super tight dresses or pieces that fit awkwardly) then leave them at home! Personally, I try to steer clear of items that are fitted in the tummy area (don’t we all?) just because it makes me self- conscious and I’m constantly wondering if it looks bad. So, if there are pieces in your closet that make you feel self- conscious or uncomfortable, don’t include them in your senior portrait wardrobe! Additionally, we will most likely be sitting on the ground, laying down, walking and doing other things that could be difficult if your clothing is uncomfortable!

One way I ensure that my brides and grooms enjoy the BEST photographic experience possible is through forming a relationship with my couples. I try my best to make sure that all of my couples are the PERFECT fit for me before officially booking. A bride and groom should connect with their photographer, trust their photographer and be EXCITED about the whole process with them! After booking, I love getting to know my clients through an ENGAGEMENT SESSION that helps them warm up to the camera so that they are ready to rock and roll on the wedding day! By the time the wedding day arrives, my clients feel more like friends and that creates a safe and relaxed environment for photography! Now that you know a little bit about my approach to the wedding day, you can continue reading to find more detailed information about THE WEDDING EXPERIENCE!

Ready to talk to Andrea?

Once I have answered any questions you may have and you have decided that my Wedding Experience is exactly what you’re looking for on your wedding day, the next step is a booking proposal. I will create an online proposal that will walk you through the package and when you’re ready you can save your date by signing your contract and paying your deposit online.

BOOKING :

I love being both interactive and discreet throughout the wedding day. There will be parts of the wedding day when I will need to be in control in order to accomplish everything that needs to be done while staying on schedule. There will also be moments when you shouldn’t even know that I’m there. (The ceremony, during dances and toasts, etc.) I teach my couples how to pose, model and interact during their engagement session so they are naturals on the wedding day and don’t need quite as much instruction from us!

MY SHOOTING STYLE:

I am often asked if 8 hours is enough time to capture the full wedding story and the answer is yes! My main goal right now is securing and saving your date. You can always add additional coverage as we get closer to the big day and we have a good idea of your timeline.

COVERAGE:

I average 60-80 images per hour that I’m shooting, 75 - 100 with a second shooter. I love delivering my client’s files quickly and easily via an online gallery. You will have the ability to print, share and download your images as much as you want. I believe in freely sharing my work because that is what I would want if I was in your shoes!

DIGITAL FILES:

An engagement session is included in all my collections.  Why you ask.  Because it's SO IMPORTANT for you to be comfortable in front of my camera.  The best way to do that is to spend time in front of my camera.  When there is no pressure.  So when we get to the big day, everything comes natural.

All I can say is I will be using this photographer forever. As a bigger girl I struggle to like pictures of myself but everything she captures makes me look phenomenal. She was such a wonderful person to work with and felt more like a friend than just a wedding photographer. I can’t say enough good things about her!

Gabrielle

Oh wow, that was fast! They look wonderful. We really appreciate getting to share our day with you. All our family commented on our wise choice of working with you and how nice and professional you were.
